Weekend Progress Report: May 29, 2011

This is the long Memorial Day Weekend ... Friday through Monday, with lots of time for stitching and other leisure activities.

All in all, it's been a good week for finishes:

BAP: TW's Autumn Faerie is nearly completely beaded. Just one more dayworking on this and it will be ready for a trip to the framer. Just to be consistent, I'll post the finish photo on Wentzler Wednesday. For now, I'll just post a detail of the beading ... this has to be done in the entire border!

CJC: I finished BBD's A Bird in Hand late last night and plan to finish-finish it as a pin pillow ... just waiting on some R & R Reproductions hand-dyed chenille trim I ordered as an embellishment. The stitching on The Gilded Cage is also done ... I'll be mailing that to Jill Rensel for framing.

HOE: will go in the mail as soon as the Post Office reopens for business Tuesday morning. One day before deadline, so I guess I am good. I've taken photos and will post them when I get word that the piece has been received ... it's heading overseas, so that may take a while.

You're doing so much better on your CJC than I am! I've got to get cracking.
