I am really putting the Moogies down for a while ...

...  I know I have been saying that for two days now but I just had to see how far along with the top border I could get today before putting the piece aside for the next two weeks.  Border stitching, however boring, can also become somewhat obsessive.  And there is no getting around the fact that I would dearly love to see the top section of the border over and done with!!!

So here are two last comparison photos:

You have done amazingly well with this one - I hope you don't put it aside for too long as I've enjoyed watching this one grow.

What a great piece Regina. I love the colors in it. Did you sew 3 pieces of fabric together or am I seeing things. Also, what color fabric are you using.

Yes I did sew the fabric together to get the right size for the project and I can barely remember the fabric but I think it was a very old piece of Charles Craft Navy Aida. Some stash leftover from before I switched exclusively to linen.
