Workbasket's Mermaids Singing, stitched on Silkweaver's 32ct Monster Mash Cashel linen, in the charted Crescent and Caron colors. It took just two and half hours to couch all the Caron wool on the seaweed strands. I had originally thought I'd finish this as a pillow but now I am thinking of making it into a tote in which to carry books to the pool this summer.

At long last, another finish ...
Workbasket's Mermaids Singing, stitched on Silkweaver's 32ct Monster Mash Cashel linen, in the charted Crescent and Caron colors. It took just two and half hours to couch all the Caron wool on the seaweed strands. Great job. Not sure I'd want to expose all those overdyed fibers to the elements, but who knows where my version will end up in my mother's house? (See here for the finish. It was framed for Christmas, but I don't think I managed to capture a photo.
