Halloween Towel, The Sequel

I used one more design from the JCS Oct. 2016 that fits neatly into the 58w x 80h space of a huck towel.  Again, the main motifs are a pumpkin and a black cats, so it makes a nice companion piece for the towel seen in my last post.  I used the recommended DMC.

I'll switch gears for awhile,  The Lady Washington Sampler from Morning Glory Designs will make a nice change of pace.  Lots of intricate specialty stitches in 18 bands.

That's a cute design. I wasn't so impressed with the Smalls in this year's Hallowe'en issue but I like this one. In fact, having looked at the magazine which is beside me, I think I prefer the designs in the October issue!

What a coincidence-I recently pulled Dawn's Lady Washington Sampler from my to-do basket. I'm so close to finishing, it would be a shame to quit now. It has been languishing for several years after working on it during two Stitcher's Hideaways.

You are really stitching up a storm... I've been reading, but not commenting due to one thing or another occupying my time... but enjoy seeing all your pieces! Hugs!
